Memories of Master An'ichi Miyagi

On April 28, 2009, Grand Master An'ichi Miyagi passed away at the age of 78.

An'ichi Miyagi was a direct disciple and uchi-deshi of Chojun Miyagi, the founder of Goju-ryu karate, and the teacher of Master Morio Higaonna, the world renowned Goju-ryu Sensei and head of the IOGKF.

We at the Shotojuku would like to give our condolence to the IOGKF organization and to his family.
Master Miyagi's wisdom and knowledge will be greatly missed by the world karate community.
